From February 13-23, Fighting Illini fans nationwide are encouraged to support Illini student-athletes through the 217 Drive.

WHAT IS THE 217 DRIVE?

The 217 Drive serves as a vehicle to generate new ICON for Illini one-time donations as well as to further elevate the commitment of the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics (DIA) toward shaping the future of Fighting Illini student-athletes through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). The initiative empowers Fighting Illini fans at every level to play an active role in the success stories of current and future student-athletes.

There are two primary ways that everyone can get involved and support this critically important initiative: 

• Make a Contribution: Every dollar makes a difference. Make a minimum one-time contribution of $21.70 to support this initiative.

• Spread the word: Share the campaign with fellow Illini supporters and encourage them to get involved.

By making a one-time donation to ICON, fans will be entered to select one of three prizes:

Prizes:

• Prize Option 1* - Big Ten Tournament Experience: Tickets, Hotel Room, VIP Experience

• Prize Option 2** - Facilities Tour of Ubben Basketball Complex, Smith Football Performance Center, Demirjian Indoor and Lauritsen/Wohlers Outdoor Golf Practice Facility 

• Prize Option 3 - Exclusive Illini Basketball Gear Package

*Big Ten Tournament tickets will be available for games that Illinois is competing in. 

** Facilities Tour will be scheduled based on availability

 

As a reminder, I FUND will be awarding two Priority Points for every dollar that is contributed to ICON. Donations to the 217 Drive will count towards the Memorial Stadium and State Farm Center reseat. Don’t forget to send ICON your I FUND Account Number before our February 24 deadline to be awarded your Priority Points.
